Thank you to FEEDING AMERICA/SECOND HARVEST for bringing food supplies to 128 area families. This months distribution included oranges and grapefruits, yogurt, frozen potatoes, 10 pounds of fresh potatoes, cookie dough, canned goods and bread.

I am told that frozen chicken will be making a comeback in the near future. For most of 2014, every family received 10 pounds of frozen chicken legs each month.

The food truck sets up at 9am on the 3rd Tuesday each month at the Open Arms Mission on Calvary Church Road.
