It is so satisfying to find a treasure trove on a beautiful back road.  Thrift store bargains await you at Friends and Neighbors Thrift Store in Mooresburg, Tennessee. Volunteers work hard to clean and prepare items for resale at Friends and Neighbors Thrift Store. You will be pleased to know that your dollars go directly to support programs that help people live better lives. Hours of operation are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10:00am to 3:00pm


You will find a wide array of items such as clothing, jewelry, housewares, toys, furniture, and knick knacks. Conveniently located off of Hwy 11W next to the Post Office, this is a very visible location to passers by.  Incredible volunteers work very hard to maintain the store to display and sell newly discovered items. Proceeds go to Mooresburg Community Center, a non-profit organization that provides over 45 hot meals per day. For more information, call (423) 293-0073.


The services make a difference in helping Mooresburg neighbors live independently in their homes. Meals in the Hills is a home delivered meal program. Volunteers deliver a plate of hot food to Mooresburg, TN residents 5 days per week.


Folks who live near Mooresburg Community Center enjoy a daily meal together. While at the center, everyone enjoys making crafts, snacking, and learning something new on the computer.  Mooresburg Community Association also provides a ride to medical appointments.


Established on June 22, 2013, this is a bright and clean thrift store. It is a happy place where volunteers strive to keep everything clean and organized. This beautiful market in the country shares space with a self storage facility.  The owner generously donated this area on the end of the building for the Friends & Neighbors Thrift Store.
