Who We Are

The Mooresburg Community Association is made up of a partnership of dedicated staff, area churches and private community representatives to form a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to provide services for residents who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle in Mooresburg, Tennessee.

Our collection of services provides that little helping hand that can make a difference between living at home and making an unwanted move to a long term care facility.

Services that we provide:

All  services are individualized to meet the unique needs of each person. Those services may include but are not limited to:

  • Home delivered meals
  • Transportation
  • Emergency Alert Systems
  • Assistance with Social Agencies
  • Individual Assistance with Medical Coverage and Supplements
  • Help with Food Insecurity

We celebrate birthdays at the center by having a monthly get-together. Sometimes we have a little party at Mooresburg Community Center; sometimes a small group of us will decide to meet at the center and make the long drive out to a restaurant.  Sometimes  somebody like Dorothy comes into your life that is so very special and keeps everyone together and always has a kind word to say even when they themselves are not feeling very well. Dorothy was that person for us.

Miss Dorothy was feeling weak that day, and she was in the hospital the next morning for a blood transfusion which she would get a few times a year.

“I miss Dorothy. I would hug her and tell her how pretty she was.”
